A hidden setting on the iPhone 14 Pro allows for an always-on black-and-white display.

This hidden option may be of interest to you if, like me,

you've disabled the always-on display on your iPhone 14 Pro

According to 9to5mac, the iPhone 14 Pro's always-on screen can be made to look more like the always-on displays

Android manufacturers like Google and Samsung by turning off a rather buried option.

You must activate a 'Focus Mode' called 'Dim Lock Screen

which darkens the iPhone 14 Pro's display while always-on is turned on

In order to use the black-and-white always-on display.
