Out of Croatia, we have both good and bad news today. Despite the awful state of the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta in the picture above, it's fortunate that no one was hurt in the collision that caused it.

The good news is that. The unfortunate news is that a remarkably rare Pagani is currently seriously damaged. It is one of only three that were built, thus when we say highly rare.

What exactly happened? The Supercar Owners Circle event was being attended by the Zonda, and it was taking place in Croatia. Although the video at the top of the page captures the collision as it happens, its specifics are unknown.

The highly rare Apollo IE and the Zonda HP Barchetta can both be seen passing by the camera. None of the vehicles seem to be moving quickly,

but the back end emerges shortly after the Zonda passes. The effect of a broad hypercar colliding with oncoming traffic on a narrow route is an ugly-looking collision.

We believe the crash took place on September 2 as far as we can tell. There have been a lot of new pictures and videos on social media;

but the back end emerges shortly after the Zonda passes. The effect of a broad hypercar colliding with oncoming traffic on a narrow route is an ugly-looking collision.

The hit completely dislodged the vehicle's rear suspension on the driver's side and wrecked both the front and rear wheel wells.
