Ukrainians rejoice as Russian troops flee Lyman and help themselves to Russian supplies.

After months of battle, the war-torn town of Lyman's residents strolled out onto the streets Sunday morning

enjoying a rare peace, and unsure of who was in command anymore.

The previous night, the final Russian forces left the city in an effort to avoid being surrounded by the Ukrainian forces moving forward.

Not all of the Russians survived.

On the sides of the roads outside the city, there are still burning Russian cars and splayed bodies of Russian soldiers who have died.

Finally, they dragged out a box containing fuzes for the hand grenades as well as a bag of hand grenades,

they loaded the trophy weaponry into their pickup.
